The manila envelope arrived with the daily mail with the usual paranoid "Wyatt Chaser, Reporter FOR EYES ONLY". It was perhaps like any other half of a dozen that the reporter would see in a particular week, usually filled with hopelessly unlinkable bits of...stuff.

The envelope opened with a bit more wrok than usual, perhaps making the recipient wonder just how paranoid his sources really were. The note fell out in his hands, different in that the print was word carefully cut from magazines and newspapers. The mismatched print on the plain white page said simply:

"I have information you want. Meet me at the Old Lumber Mill on Canal Road on the 2nd at dusk."
