The Chaser Report - To the Highest Bidder?

[ A large black and white picture of someone getting out of a car, flanked by two smaller, but higher quality colour pictures of that someone entering and exiting an elevator. The B&W is a lost cause as far as ID is concerned, but the colour ones, especially the one of the person leaving the elevator looks very much like Nicholas McAllister. ]

Yes, I have returned, my beloved fans. I couldn't stay away forever, especially not with this story brewing to a boil under my very nose. What's this story, you ask? Who's in the pictures, you ask? For those of you who follow the news, it's Nicholas McAllister, CEO of MSI, the leading computer chip design company of the new century.

So, Wyatt, you ask, what is so scandalous about a CEO of a major corporation getting out of a car and getting into an elevator? You are probably looking to see if the shoes match the tie, and of course, they do, at least that's what the boys in the computer lab tell me.

But that's not the whole story, of course. To be fair, and who has ever accused me of being unfair, I took those photographs straight to Mr. McAllister himself, for his side of the story, and I got nothing - no explanation, simple or otherwise. Which, of course, means he has something to hide, but what?

Well, I went to the company, and asked around. After getting past the dragon lady, I discovered something extraordinary about Nicholas McAllister - he is the most loyal, happy, and wonderful boss, father, friend most of his employees has ever had. I could find no one to say a bad word against him, even with prodding, promises and prizes. In short, he is a wonderful man.

So, what does he have to hide? There is, of course, only one explanation - he's rendezvousing with someone to either reveal company secrets, or to try and influence the value of his stock options. No other options make sense, but I will explore them all, and return a verdict soon.
