MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE: Early this morning local businessman, Nicholas McCallister, was found laying on his living room floor, blood flowing from his wrist in an attempted suicide. It is by luck alone that he was found by the maid who came in a bit earlier then usual this day, for if she had not, he would have surely died. Mr. McCallister is becoming somewhat of a popular name as of late, considering his recent forced 'coming out', by a local tabloid newspaper, and imminant release of Sword-7, a revolutionary new computer chip made by Mr. McCallister's company, Monolith Systems. As of the time of this report, the only comments which can be gathered from the Monolith executives is that of their concern and sympathy.
It is reported that Mr. McCallister and his wife were having great troubles in regards to the tabloid release, and that she took their two children on a trip to her sisters to try to work some things out.
A witness has come forward, claiming to have seen Mr. McCallister and Wyatt Chaser, the author of the tablid article, speaking the evening prior to the attempted-suicide. At this time, Police are calling the event an obvious suicide attempt, and have ruled out any possible foul-play.
