Wyatt Responds

Okay, okay, okay. This whole Nicholas McAllister thing is getting completely out of hand, and not just the media circus that surrounds the Enquirer, the Monolith Building, the hospital, and various places of residence, but the fact that everyone seems quite content that Wyatt Chaser be the only one to blame.

To quote from what I said to the lovely Mrs. "Hands of Death" McAllister that everyone from the Examiner to CNN seems to be taking pity on, "I'm not the one who cheated on you with another man. I'm not the one who tried to take the coward's way out and put a razor to my wrist." And that, folks, is the crux of the problem. Poor Nicholas. He cut himself over Wyatt's alleged attempt to destroy his life. Poor Nicholas. He can't even get out of bed to take a pee.

Hello, McFly! This is a man who cheated on his wife, but that's just 'a mistake'. Well, good. I'm glad that we have people in this country that can forgive and possibly forget, and for that Mrs. McAllister, you're a stronger person than I. However, the point here is that it was Nicholas who made the mistake, and Wyatt who takes the blame. Would we all be so quick to condemn if CNN had flashed these pictures across their TV screen? What if it was the Examiner that carried these pictures? And don't get me wrong, folks, the Examiner would carry them. In fact, shortly after we did, they did. It was only a little insert, but they did. And so did CNN, and the Gazette.

If the media is to blame for Mr. McAllister's downfall, not all of it falls at the feet of one small little tabloid in this fair city. Of course, the point is moot because Mr. McAllister is responsible for his own downfall. Don't give me the 'it wouldn't have happened if you hadn't printed those pictures' BS. What I did and did not do in no way reflects on Nicholas' crimes of the heart. No, adultery and betrayal aren't crimes in this country, but ask that to the people who've been the victims. I did not put a gun to Nicholas' head and ask him to kiss another man. He did that of his own free will, and as we internet gamers used to say ICA=ICC. In Character Actions=In Character Consequences. The character actions of the lying, cheating husband creates the consequences of being a lying, cheating husband. Passing the buck to me doesn't make your actions any worse, Nicholas.

Of course, no one really knows what Nicholas thinks right now. It's only his defenders that have spoken for him. Wouldn't it be scary if he actually agreed with me?
