7 December 2007, "Top of the Slope" Lodge, Cannon Mountain Ski Resort

Fanny Parker hung up the phone and jotted down the last details on the page before her. The wedding party numbered 20, all their arrangements had been made, the check recieved, and the orders placed. She smiled to herself, happy to help arrange such happy occasions, especially during the times when things were slow.

The couple would be married over looking the valley below, in the fine surroundings of the Pinnacle Room, then would sit down to a quiet wedding dinner and then depart on their honeymoon to some romantic get away a bit further north. Ah, how nice...and she wished that her own husband were romantic enough to appreciate such. Oh well, as her mother said "Some princes are just toads."

She wrote out a quick note to put in a call to the catering staff, then make a final confirmation with the client. She was certain that the Grange-Ashids would be pleased with the services of Cannon Mountain and tell their friends. That was, afterall how she made her money.

10 December 2007, An apartment above the Fruited Plain

Rael and the kids bounded through the door, completely covered in snow from the apparent snowball fight. Stacee watched them practically tumble in, getting a shocked look of surprise on her face before saying quickly into the phone "Well, thank you so much for your time. I'll get back to you at the end of this week....Goodbye." She composed herself as the snowcovered mass of family shook the wet clothes from their bodies and said "Have fun, everyone."

Jase and Shauna launched into an explanation of their exploits of defeating the Great and Powerful Rael Monster. She glanced at Rael for a second, uncertain of how much of the story was imagination. His return glance made her feel a lot better and he then walked over to wrap his arms around her from behind while they finished their tall tale with a loud "And the Monster fell over dead!". Both of them made fearsome face and then tore off into the bedroom, making their mother and father both laugh at their antics.

After a moment, she turned back to the notepad in her grasp and flipped the cover closed. Rael was doing something naughty to her ear, something that would lead to a fast trip into the bedroom, if she wasn't careful. "Wicked man," she hissed, trembling more than normal "The kids might see and..."

"They'd know that their parents are very much in love." he hissed back, nibbling on her neck a moment and making her shiver that way he liked her to shiver. "Who was on the phone?"

"A caterer." she said, still fighting the urge to give in and just melt into an aroused bit of trembling ooze. "Someone wants a special dinner and I had to check with someone about cooking to spec." She quivered, trying to keep her legs under her as her body betrayed her again--not that she minded all *that* much.

Something was not quite as it seemed, but he was a little too interested in getting warmed up with her to press the issue. "Uh huh." he grunted as he kept up his nibbles, supporting her weight easily as her legs finally buckled. Besides, if he did it just right, she might confess to avoid being tickled. She was really quite sensitive to such delights. For now, though, he elected to merely make her putty in his hands.
