Author: Peter

Nov 11 2005

Well once again it is just another day and Peter hasn't had enough sleep once again. The short walk in the fall air to his lab invigorates him but upon entering once again the pressure resumes. Something just isn't right about his new experiment. He isn't accustomed to losing sleep over a project yet the experiment is soo close yet still eluding him.

Finally reaching his workbench Peter looks over the apparatus and for the first time notices the problem and as he reaches over and tweeks a setting he knows this will be the solution. This will be the break through he has been seeking.

The system spins up and the sounds of fans fill the air as he initiates the test. At first nothing then as quick as a blink the laser activates and the apparatus begins to function, not only does it function but it is working better than expected. He makes some adjustments and up comes the power along with the effciency and as he makes minute adjustsments over and over the figures go higher and higher. At the peak of the curve Peter plugs into the apparatus and begins sending data across it. Unreal, it is faster than anything coming before it. Peter thought to himself, "Would this be the next revolution?"

The only question coming to mind is, can he make this work in a large scale?
