14 February 2009, Somewhere in Manchester
She made sure the ghoul was properly hosted as she left by the back steps of the Squirrel. A quick phone call to Francis at the bar assured that there would be no lapses in courtesy. No one would ever be heard to say in life or Asgardhr that her care for thralls lacked. That was only proper.
Besides, he actually admired her sorry excuse for a pool game.
Fursa sat that the small rolltop desk in the auxilliary haven, pulling out a sheet of the good paper from the place where she kept it in the wall safe. A fountain pen and the proper ink lay at her clawed fingers as she wrote out the letter in Latin.
Unto Livia Gaius Flaccus does Fursa Hand-Seinn, Prince of the Domain of New Hampshire sends Greetings.
By your letter, delivered by your man into my hand, I see that your missive is indeed authentic. The attached letter will explain how to gain my audience directly. Present yourself in Elysium, should you still desire to gain my Word.
Done by my hand this 15th day of February, 2009CE
(Fursa's Mark)
The blotter powder sprayed across the page and the page was allowed to dry under the heat of the desklamp while the second letter was prepared with 4 lines of brief instruction. The acquisition of the two coins would be proof enough of this Ventrue's acumen. There's a lot you can tell about a person who can find such things, both good and bad.
A manila envelope was prepared with the appropriate markings and the contents shifted inside it with a fluid motion. Then the celphone came open again and another call was placed, this time to Franz.
"I have work for you. The fountain, in 10 minutes."
Then the Prince of New Hampshire rose from her seat and drew her coat back on, drawing her hand to the raven medallion beneath her shirt and taking a moment to elicit a long sigh. Her gloves were on her hands in moments and the envelope walked to the van, where she drove it off across town in the darkness.
Franz would make sure that it was delivered properly. He was good at doing what she required of him.
