A true beauty, the only possible flaw in her features is that assurance in her eyes that she knows quite well how beautiful she is, and glories in it. Her hair is a rich shade of black, midnight under the new moon, cascading down her shoulders with unerring style. Eyes an arctic shade of blue, cold and unforgiving glance upon you, and her smile might remind you of a cat, and you're the mouse. Her figure is that many fashion models would die for, shaped and curved in just precisely the right places.
She favors a sleek red clothing, sparkling against the light that caresses her form. Upon her arms are a pair of matching gloves, fitting snug over her hands and stopping just below her elbow. She effortlessly walks upon a pair of blood red high heels, moving with a praticed grace. Smiling, she looks at you, before concerning herself with more important things.
Cassandra is a posuer. For all of her assets, she is simply a manipulative, basically power hungry woman driven by her vanity, greed, and bitterness. The merest sleight has sent her seeking dark revenge more than once, bringing down more than one from their lofty perches in Kindred and Mortal society alike.
Cassandra was born and raised in the French Quarter New Orleans in the summer of 1814. Her parents were well to do but outsiders to the social scene of the time, but Cassandra's stunning beauty and manipulative saavy soon negated her family's disadvantages. In the late fall of 1830, she was married to Henri Monmouth, the son of a wealthy banker. She whirled through the New Orleans High Society with reckless abandon, showing off the social skills that every charming young dilettante needs to stay on the cutting edge.
She caught the eye of Frederick De Montepassant and it was not long before the older gentleman was making an active play for her charms. She was flattered, but refused all inappropriate advances. Frederick was a man of means and was most insistent, but Cassandra remained loyal to Henri--or maybe his family and status. She tried, unsuccessfully, to bear her husband children and was ultimately declared barren by the family physician. In the same year, Henri met with a fatal hunting accident and she found herself a childless widow. Frederick came to fill the empty space in her life soon after.
Cassandra became the Merry Widow and soon she found herself totally devoted to Frederick. On a stormy night, during the throes of unbelievable passion, he Embraced her. The new childe was a devoted and quick study to vampiric life and a very lively addition to local nightlife and kindred society. She lived on as such for many years until a careless slip of the tongue by an visiting associate of Frederick's brought her to the realization that Henri's hunting accident had been arranged by her now sire. She was furious inside and secluded herself for a while, the blood bond weakened substantially by her deep
She had met a young man by the name of Robert. She bound him to her and made him into a retainer in the house. He performed his duties well for the space of several years and was totally devoted to her needs. In the summer of 1860, Cassandra made excuse to attend affairs away from the house that she shared with Frederick. Fighting the bond to the last, she ordered Robert to go back to the house very nearly after dawn and set it ablaze. Frederick was destroyed in the blaze and Cassandra was free of him and his treachery. She packed up her faithful Robert and travelled to Boston by boat, mere months before the Civil War proke out. She was accepted by the Prince and dwelt there for several decades, then moved north to attend the Toreador Prince of New Hampshire. The coming of Albert Frederickson allowed her to gain more of a foothold locally than might otherwise have been possible for a Neonate and she soon enjoyed some status locally as a result.
Cassandra met with the comparably aged Aaron, and soon grew to enjoy his company, in spite of his insufferable attitude of being such an 'Artiste'. Labeled a 'Poseur' by the rest of her clan, she soon surpassed them all in social skills as well as organizational abilities, quickly gaining a reputation as a socialite and hostess, as well as an unsurpassed critic.
Despite her personal distate of Aaron's arrogance, she does admire his devotion to art, though their arguments have reached legendary proportions in the town of Manchester, at least among the vampiric community. They do share a bond that extends beyond their bickering, though few would suspect the way that they carry on. With the arrival of Fursa and her Praxis seizure of Manchester, Cassandra has comfortably settled in as the lead harpy of Elysium, using her status to make or break anothers... and despite their confrontations, she does hold a secret dear spot for Aaron, though how far that extends, few would contemplate. (And those that did, would well discover the extent her bodyguard ghouls are trained...).
