"Have a seat. Can I get you a beer, maybe some coffee?"
Gretchen is a woman of grace and elegance--little about her disputes it. Standing 5'6" tall, her bearing is sure and she seems looks quite capable of handling herself. Her voice is generally quiet, on loud enough to be heard over the ambient noise of the room she is in and it commands a certain attention, if not repsect for those listening to it.
She looks to be in her 30's, then you realize that she must be older from the look in her deep green eyes which watch you over the librarian half frames. There is consideration in everything she does, a sort of knowing and experience, that is quite capitvating, yet makes most people keep a respectful distance. Her red hair is bound into a loose sort of braid, which hangs down her back, the rest framing her face to give her a softer and gentler look--perhaps the source of her youthful looks.
She is rarely not wearing some kind of tweed jacket and pants, with a cashmir turtleneck and deerskin gloves to cover her hands. Her shoes are basic, practical, and elegant in spite of their utilitarian nature.
Not a great deal is known about Mrs. Guebler's personal life, but she typically is not a part of local kindred politics. This is largely because she has spent a great deal of her time creating a lasting impression on local charitable concerns with her hefty donations. Habitat for Humanity, the local Hospice, and the Children's wing at Manchester Mercy Hospital have all benefitted from her seemingly bottomless pockets.
