Jason McClintoch

Appearance

Jason stands somewhere in the neighborhood of six feet tall, and has what could best be described as an athletic build. His dark blue eyes and long dark hair tied into a ponytail behind him seem to add a few years to what would normally have been called the body of someone in their very late teens or early twenties. From his manner and how he carries himself, he doesn't seem too concerned with what someone else might think of him.

Jason can usually be found in well-worn jeans and a t-shirt, but occasionally goes 'formal' and dons some Dockers and a button-up shirt. He is almost never without his leather jacket with the logo of the 115th Bomb Disposal Unit on the back with the phrase, "If you see me running, try to catch up."

Demeanor

You'd never know his clan from looking at him. Jason stays rather quiet unless spoken to, or unless he's looking for something/one, and maintains an impassive expression most of the time. He seems to actually enjoy himself around Fursa and Franz, but that seems to be the extent of those he considers friends. Bringing up the subject of his past or his previous Praxis holding is usually the fastest way to get his anger to flare up.

Background Synopsis

Jason was embraced in 1930 by Slade McClintoch, a long-time Chicago Brujah Idealist who was looking for an acceptable candidate to teach and join him. Things were cut short in 1992, when Slade and Jason's sister Angela were killed in the infamous Cryostar bombing incident. Inactive in politics before this point, Jason stepped up to nominate himself as Brujah Primogen, and within a month was also named Sheriff for the new Prince.

From this point onward, a series of inept Princes, numbering 8 in all, and all suffering Final Death from one reason or another within a month of seizing Praxis, caused the degeneration of the Camarilla in Chicago. The Sabbat packs in the area, quick to capitalized, seized control of the city firmly and began killing off resistant enemies. In an ill-advised move, Jason announced Praxis over what was left of the city and set about attempting to regroup what was left of the Camarilla in Chicago and start over. Riddled with apathy, and in some cases, outright treason to the Sabbat, the remaining Camarilla members could not hold together. The Sabbat, sensing such a weakness, cornered Jason and about five of his trusted Camarilla members in the basement of Elysium, and attacked. In the ensuing chaos, only one Sabbat met his final death, while Jason's entire group was slaughtered, Jason himself only escaping by being helped out of the building by Franz before it succumbed to structural damage and collapsed in on itself.

Now having absolutely no reason to remain behind, Franz was able to convince Jason to travel with him back to his adopted home in New Hampshire. He has now been living in Fursa's domain for a few years, and recently was given the position of Sheriff. Rumors abound about the amount of time he spends in Fursa's company and what the two are up to, and why Fursa would put such trust into an individual who failed so miserably as Prince.
