Background

Lowell Green grew up poor and humble -- until the day Robbie Fenswick had taken his lunch money and ruined his favorite school shirt in the process. He resented the hand that life had dealt him and the parents who preached the humility line to him. There was something inside his head that told him that being poor and humble somehow wasn't the way to sucess in life and vowed to not live that life anymore. He left home and dropped out of school at 16 and started to make his own way.

By the time that he was 18, he had amassed a fairly sizable amount of money doing "odd jobs" and other things. He poured his money into real estate, and whatever else looked good to him at the time. So much time he spent making money that his marriage failed, but he found a way to evade childe support and alimony until his wife died in an "accident". By the time he was 40, he was a very wealthy man, indeed.

Now in his late 40's with a grown son to inherit his wealth when he dies, he has substantial holdings all over the state, but particularly has concentrated his acquisitions in the area between Manchester and the coast. He is a formidable businessman and ruthless in his moves to acquire things. It is said that no price is too high nor dirty trick too low for Lowell Green. Yet, for all the rumors of illegal activity that abound around this figure, the cops can never seem to catch him in the act.

He is a dyed in the wool WASP and is quick to cut people of other races and sexes. In fact, he is quoted in and old newspaper article as saying "Men run the world, and women run for men."
