Henry Wilkins

Appearance

Henry is a man of very average caucasian appearance, who has begun to grey a bit at the temples. It sort of makes him look like Mr. Jamison from the Spider Man comics. He is a working editor, usually in a rumpled suit coat with his shirt sleeves rolled up.

Demeanor

A definite conservative, Henry Wilkins is not a man to take needless risks. His charisma and public speaking style are forceful and impelling, though he is not one to make himself the center of attention. He prefers to watch and wait, allowing himself the chance to properly analyze situations before involving himself. His memory is uncannily accurate, a talent which has served him well in life. When he chooses to make a move, it is usually very effective.

Background

Wilkins' family has been a part of the community for generations. He attended local schools and knows many of the important locals by name, even being able tell you miscellaneous facts about them off the cuff.

He started off in the newspaper business as a copy boy in high school. It was the 70's and the young man showed promise as both a writer and an investigator and researcher. He attended New Hampshire College and recieved a Bachelors in both Journalism and English before returning to full time work at the paper as a reporter.

Through a number of happy accidents and his sheer saavy, he worked his way up through the ranks into the editorial staff, eventually being named successor to retiring editor William Bradley in 1990. Wilkins influence in the community is far reaching, he being known for his ability to approach angered factions and mediating disputes. Though firmly committed to bringing the news to the public, he will not take the same steps as the "Granite Enquirer" to bring it to the public.

Wilkins is an unwitting participant in the world of vampire politics, but is completely unaware of his connections to it.
